Happy New Year 2016!
It’s been too long since I have blogged. The truth is, the fall gets so busy that I have a hard time justifying blogging when I have families waiting on pics and Christmas cards. So January seems like the ideal month for me to wrap up the old year and post about my fall sessions.
THANK YOU to all my wonderful clients who chose me this fall to document their families and memories. I shot at White Rock Lake, fields near Forney, Texas, downtown Dallas, College Station, an attempt to shoot in Katy, TX (but we had a torrential downpour that weekend) and lots of sessions at my home (near Forney), particularly my driveway under pretty, rustic twinkley lights. I planned and worked a lot to get the lights just right. It was quite the undertaking, but it was totally worth it. Shout out to my family, friends, a couple clients and another photographer who listened to me and my vision and helped me brainstorm ideas. I appreciate you all so much.
I photographed lots of babies this fall as well and have been so anxious to blog and share some of my favorites from those sessions. That will be my next post…stay tuned!
I hope everyone is already having a wonderful year. It’s sunny and 65 here in Texas today. I know most Texans love the warm weather all year long, but I love seasons. I want snow! 🙂
Enjoy looking at some of my favorite shots from Fall 2015!
Hi Allison! Stumbled across your work via google, and I’m interested in a family mini session, or maybe a full session. In your mini sessions, do you typically offer a print credit with those? Also wondering around what time in the fall you do them. I’m going to follow you on Instagram so I can stay apprised of deets on stuff over the next few months! Also, do you do any shooting for bloggers? Lifestyle let shots and such?
You can reach me at: Katie.breckenridge@gmail.com
Hi Katie–thank you so much for your interest in my work. I usually do minis in mid to late Oct and throughout Nov. Minis usually include 10 images and no print credit. I announce details re: those in late summer (usually at the end of August). Yes! Be sure and follow me on FB (J Allison Andrews Photography and Design) and on Instagram (@jallisonandrewsphoto) where I will announce more details about fall sessions. Thank you again!
