Other than the crazy wind, we had a great time for Shelly’s senior session. Pretty, sunny skies and great conversation between Shelly, her mom and me. I have known this family for some time. I photographed Shelly’s older sister 5 years ago as a senior, so I was honored and so happy to get to do this for Shelly too. Shelly, also a Forney High School student, impressed me so much with her ambition and drive. She is on the path to becoming a nurse practitioner, and I have no doubt she will do just that. She is such a sweetheart and she has the most beautiful smile ever. I seriously think this first picture of her especially, is so telling of her personality. Sweet, honest, determined and full of grace.
Shelly had a special request for her shoot. She wanted to take some shots with her dad’s 1972 vintage orange Chevrolet pick-up truck named “Squash”. Of course you knew my answer. I am a sucker for most anything vintage, especially vehicles. You’ll see a couple of my favorites of Shelly and Squash. 🙂
Thank you, Shelly, for choosing me! I hope you love these as much as I loved taking and perfecting them. I wish you nothing but the very best.
