Photographing Winn was so fun, and a great reminder what it was like to have a one-year-old BOY!  They are busy bees.  They don’t want to sit still and they want to climb on everything they’re not supposed to climb on.  I loved it, though.  Seriously I love this age because you feel like they are still babies but they are learning and exploring so much that it’s such a joy to watch.

Winn’s mom has exquisite taste, as you’ll be able to see from the pictures.   Her house was bright with big beautiful windows and the mix of textures and furniture in her house was seriously to die for!  This is another reason photography is an expensive business to be in, because after I leave such beautifully-decorated houses it makes me what to come home and redecorate mine.  ha!

Mom was right.  He has such a pensive look, especially in front of the camera.

And a nod to his first birthday with a simple blue balloon…love.

And what beautiful spring weather we’ve had this week in Dallas – perfect day to venture outside.  Now that will always get us some smiles.
