My first impression of Kaela was that she was a shy and reserved girl – maybe that it would take a little while to warm up to me and to the camera. And, of course, this is totally fine and natural.  I don’t ever expect any high school senior to come to me with the know-how of modeling…my job is to be the director and tell the my seniors what and how to do it.  But, this girl proved me wrong quickly.  She totally had me fooled. Kaela knew how to move, how to change up her expression and her overall look.  I loved her expressive eyes and her beautiful smile.  She was such a delight to shoot.

And getting to know her personally was just as sweet.  In just the few hours that I spent with Kaela and her step mom, it was evident how strong their bond and love was for one another and that was an awesome thing to witness.  I am certain that this support has shaped Kaela into the strong and confident woman she is today, and I know this will propel her into many future successes.

Watch out, World.  Here comes Kaela!  🙂
