Despite the crazy wind (again!) this weekend we were still able to have an awesome family session. JJ just turned two, and Mom wanted the session to be mostly about him, so we centered all our fun on this super-curious, ALL boy little cutie. He was mesmerized by everything “on the farm” – the tractors, 4-wheelers, bunnies, ducks and chickens so we were able to get lots of fun shots. Watching a 2-year-old explore the world is so heartwarming and refreshing.
We also took a few “senior-type” shots of Miss Claire. She is an exchange from France living with the family. Such a sweet girl, and the bond that she and little JJ share is so special. I loved getting to chat with her. When I was growing up my family hosted a girl from Japan. Kayo lived with us her senior year. It was as eye-opening for us as it was for her. You can imagine her unique experiences of coming from Tokyo, Japan to Combine, Texas and living with 4 daughters – and ours too…we were introduced to dried squid, a little karate, and the overall loving, generous culture of the Japanese people. Lots of great memories we have of Kayo, and thankfully we are now in touch via Facebook. :)) I’m sure that both Claire and the family will have a lifetime of memories from her stay in Texas.
Thank you so much S family for choosing me as your photographer. Hope you enjoy your pics as much as I have!
He figured out pretty quickly that it was easier to push than pull. ^^^ Smart boy.
Claire, I hope that you have thoroughly enjoyed your time in Texas. I’m certain that you have left a very special place in each of their hearts. ♥♥♥
